Join the Medical Seal Program for Uninterrupted Electric Service
If you or a loved one have a chronic or critical health concern that requires uninterrupted electric service to your home, consider joining the town's Medical Seal Program. By doing so, you can ensure special accommodations are made in the event of a power outage or if an account is scheduled for termination due to non-payment.
Getting certified is simple – fill out a certification form and provide the Customer Service Department with a certification from your healthcare provider stating medical necessity. Certification is required each year, and forms can be obtained by contacting the Customer Service Department or clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
While membership in the program does not guarantee uninterrupted service, every effort will be made to restore service quickly in the event of an outage or to make personal contact by phone, certified mail or in person in the event of non-payment.
